Duties/Responsibilities:
• Ability to adhere to California licensing regulations and always stay in ratio
• Ensuring the safety and basic needs of the children are met at all times
• Greet each child every day
• Knowing and adhering to our Employment Policies (which will be provided when hired)
• Educating and providing a positive atmosphere for the children, motivate through positive reinforcement
• Keep open communication and always show respect with management
• Have a good relationship with parents
• Ability to be professional at all times
• Treat children, parents, and staff with dignity and respect
• Able to change diapers and willing to assist in potty training
• Be flexible, dependable, consistent and on time
• Keep the children and environment sanitary and uncluttered
• Ability to implement our enriched Montessori program
Requirements:
• Must have at least 12 ECE units (including core courses in ECE)
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Livescan fingerprint clearance
• Criminal record & TB clearance
• Have at least 1 year of experience
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and have the children say a non-denominational grace at lunchtime
• Must be warm, nurturing, sensitive to the feelings of the children as well as others
• Able to relate well with children/parents and all staff members
• Posses good communication skills
